Privacy policy

The Impostor · Last updated: September 18, 2026 · Español

The Impostor does not collect, store or share any personal data. It’s a game you play in person by passing a single phone around, and everything you do in it stays on your device.

What is saved on your device

The app remembers the players’ names, the game settings and the words that have already come up, so you can keep playing where you left off. That information is saved only on your phone and never leaves it. You can delete it by uninstalling the app.

No accounts, no internet, no ads

You don’t need to create an account or connect to the internet. The app doesn’t use analytics services, doesn’t show ads, has no trackers and doesn’t send information to any server.

Children

The game is designed for families. Since no data is collected, no information from children is collected either.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page will be updated with the date of the latest change.
